Deleting a User-Defined Field

Note: This feature is available only to administrators.

Delete a user-defined field when it was added by mistake, or when its product data is no longer needed. Use caution; deleting a user-defined field also deletes all product data entered in the field.

To delete a user-defined field:

Starting at the User-Defined Fields page (How do I get there?), do the following:

In the User Defined Fields list, select the field you want to delete.

The box on the left shows two links: Rename and Delete.
Click Delete.

A message indicates what the effect of deleting this field will be.
To confirm the operation, click Delete.

The field is deleted, along with all product data currently entered in that field.
